The parking lot. The stranger. The van.
You’ve heard that version of self defense.

But what happens when the person crossing your boundaries already knows your name?

Fearless Femme brings self defense into your everyday life: the uneasy feeling you keep explaining away. The boundary you struggle to say out loud. The person who hears “no” and keeps pushing.

Practice communicating confidence, trusting your intuition, and setting boundaries—with physical techniques for responding when someone refuses to respect them.

Posture. Technique. Mindset.

A free women’s self defense seminar.

02 / FEARLESS FEMME

A WOMAN WHO
belongs to herself.

Signature Fearless Femme roaring panther

Your body gives you information.
Your voice carries a boundary.
Your “no” deserves to be respected.

Fearless Femme brings those things into practice.

We work on how you stand, how you speak, how you recognize discomfort, and how you respond when someone pushes past your limits. We connect physical self defense with intuition, boundaries, and the confidence that grows through practice.

Because danger can have a familiar face. Because pressure can sound like affection. Because you deserve tools for the situations that actually happen in your life.

Posture. Voice. Mindset. Technique.
Skills you can practice. Authority you can reclaim.

We’re building a culture of women who back themselves—and each other.

Women who take their discomfort seriously.
Women who practice saying what they mean.
Women who respect another woman’s boundaries.
Women who make room for each other to become stronger.

You can arrive uncertain. You can arrive quiet. You can arrive still figuring out what your boundaries are.

03 / YOUR INSTRUCTOR

I’M
Sydney Meza.

And I want you to trust yourself again.

I’m the founder of Fearless Femme, a women’s empowerment and self defense program built around self trust, voice, boundaries, and physical skill.

I’m a lifelong martial artist—and a survivor. My experience taught me that knowing techniques is only part of self defense. Mindset gives those skills somewhere to stand: trusting your gut, believing your boundaries matter, and giving yourself permission to act.

That realization became the heart of Fearless Femme. I teach physical skills alongside the self trust, voice, and conviction to stand behind them.

My work starts with a question:

What happens when a woman stops outsourcing authority over her own life—and begins trusting herself?

That question shapes how I teach.

We practice noticing what your body is telling you. Taking the signal seriously. Choosing your words. Setting the boundary. Building physical options for when someone refuses to respect it.

I want you to understand what you’re practicing, why it matters, and how it connects to your life outside the room.

Your voice deserves practice.
Your boundaries deserve support.
Your body is worth defending.

Let’s build the skills to stand behind that.

04 / INSIDE THE WORKSHOP

FROM THE FIRST
gut feeling
TO YOUR NEXT MOVE.

We’ll connect awareness, communication, and physical practice—so you can understand how these skills work together.

October 24 · 9:00 AM–12:00 PM · Three-hour seminar

01NOTICE THE SIGNALListen to yourself.

Explore the moments when something feels off, even when you haven’t found the words for it yet.

We’ll discuss discomfort, pressure, and the habit of explaining away your own reactions. You can take a feeling seriously while you decide what it means and what you want to do next.

PRACTICE

Recognizing your signals and identifying your options.

02CLAIM YOUR SPACELet your posture speak.

Explore how stance, balance, movement, and distance affect your ability to respond.

We’ll practice standing with intention, creating space, and moving toward an exit.

PRACTICE

A grounded stance and deliberate movement.

03USE YOUR VOICESay what you mean.

Practice boundaries you can actually use:

“No.”
“Stop.”
“Step back.”
“I’m leaving.”

We’ll work with breath, volume, and clear language. We’ll also explore how to respond when someone bargains, dismisses, or keeps pushing.

PRACTICE

Speaking a boundary and choosing what comes next.

04BACK YOUR BOUNDARYBuild physical options.

Connect your voice and posture with physical self defense.

We’ll practice selected techniques for creating space, responding to unwanted contact, and moving toward escape. Each technique will have a purpose you can understand.

PRACTICE

Physical responses, with opportunities to repeat and ask questions.

05CHOOSE YOUR NEXT MOVEKeep your options open.

Explore what you can do when a boundary continues to be ignored: create distance, leave, seek support, or use a physical response when needed.

We’ll connect the pieces through guided scenarios. The goal is to practice making decisions while someone is applying pressure.

PRACTICE

Choosing a response that fits the situation.

06TAKE IT INTO YOUR LIFEGive the learning somewhere to go.

Finish with reflection:

  • What did I notice?
  • What felt unfamiliar?
  • Which boundary do I want to practice?
  • What skill do I want to keep building?

Choose one practical next step to take beyond the workshop.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Come ready to move.
Come as you are.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. We’ll be barefoot or in socks. Bring a water bottle if you’d like.

Expect a high-energy, extremely welcoming, trauma-informed workshop. Your participation belongs to you—you can ask questions, take a break, or observe an exercise.

Ages 15 and up. Participants ages 15–17 may attend with a female accompanying adult age 18 or older, or attend without an adult if they have written parent/guardian consent.

An accompanying adult who isn’t participating does not count toward the 50 seats.
